CONTACT MANAGEMENT
Whilst including most of the features you would expect
in a Contact Management system, the huge advantage is
that the Sales and Marketing data base and the whole
customer history of estimates and jobs, etc. is also
available on an automatic basis, thus giving a true and
complete picture of the customer or prospect.
Located in the ‘Desk Top’ module used by
every user of the Imprint system, it also doubles up
as the internal e-mail and diary system. Placing it here
encourages its use by all. Therefore, whilst sales people
might use it for general customer contact, CSR’s
can use it for recording proofs in and out, OK press
arrival, and so forth. Use through the ‘ Desk top’ which
also shows the customer history, including estimates,
jobs and related contact items, gives an ‘on the
ball’ feeling to customers, as all their outstanding
estimates, current jobs, outstanding proofs, waiting
OK presses, pending deliveries, etc. are totally visible.
Clicking on any item gives instant drill down to documents,
production schedules, cost sheets, estimate workings,
etc. All dependent on user authorisation of course!
The Contact Management system supports remote operation
via docking by a modem or on site, which enables automatic
data synchronisation and also the uploading of estimate
and job information.
The Estimating system can also be used remotely by
laptop, and synchronises as with the Contact Management.
Due to the modern file structures used by Imprint,
a laptop can work via cell phone and modem, on-line
and
live, even viewing live update from presses attached
to Imprint’s Sentinel Machine Monitoring.
Such a powerfully armed sales executive would be hard
to beat!
