Imprint MIS has Something for every Printer

The print industry today is probably as tough, if not tougher, than it has ever been. Competition is fierce, lead times short and customer expectations high. MIS systems have changed from cost and information gathering and reporting, to something that is going to help acquire new, and keep existing customers. There can be no greater financial benefit than this and is where Imprint's MIS has something for every printer!

Imprint's MIS is fully integrated and you never key anything twice - from CRM, estimating and job bag generation to production control, real-time machine monitoring, warehouse management, e-commerce, JDF/CIP4 and SQL/MySQL. It handles multi-sites and is available fully integrated, however being modular you can buy what you need when you need it. Blindingly fast and accurate expert estimating with a full imposition system that calculates the best/cheapest production route. Estimates can be produced in seconds, including multiple components. A click of a button will tell you the earliest delivery date based upon current loading.

The Imprint Production Control actually looks and feels like a wallboard and is easy to use, it is truly multi-user, so move an item on one screen it moves on the others. It can work standalone or live to the rest of the system, eg. Shop Floor Data Capture and Direct Machine Monitoring, JDF, etc. Working in real-time it can realistically drive a 42" wall mounted plasma screen. Imprint has a clever way of handling short run jobs, usually a shortcoming with gantt style systems. Handles multi-sites, a wide variety of plant, shift and overtime patterns and can schedule multiple components and sections.

Print Management

Imprint has a full feature Print Management suite controlling all aspects of the buying process. This can link to Imprint's automated eXpert Estimating with not only in-house plant, but external or notional plant, working out cheapest methods of production against digital, sheet litho, B3, B2, B1, etc. cut star and webs, allowing targeting of ideal plant and preventing 'quote fatigue'.

Formed in 1979 from within the heart of the printing industry, Imprint Business Systems has established itself as the premier supplier of management information systems and has dedicated systems for all sectors of the printing industry. Imprint has installed hundreds of systems to companies and groups throughout the UK and overseas and its strength comes from a thorough knowledge of the industry and a dedication to its need. All staff, including programmers, are highly qualified within the print industry and understand its needs.
