Imprint Launching Next Generation of Direct Mail MIS
Imprint will showcase the next generation of its Direct Mail MIS software featuring enhancements to its estimating, job bag and production control software, live viewing of the entire production process, automated alerting and integrated sales and marketing as well as e-commerce trading. Control of multiple components and mailing cells has never been easier.
"Imprint definitely understands the complex nature of direct mail and we have the perfect solution for any direct mail company that is serious about reducing costs and generating higher profit" says Nick Bourne, Managing Director, "The Imprint MIS can offer the perfect solution for finding and developing added value to your business".
Imprint's Direct Mail Estimating Module handles both sheet and web printing, personalisation and enclosing and instantly double checks that all the items to be enclosed are processed. It easily handles multiple items/components of differing run lengths including data processing and complex cell structure with the ability to split out detailed pricing into a quotation. The Estimating Module will allow individual estimates, however produced, to be automatically pulled together in Imprint's powerful Document Generator or into a MS Word document. All of this data can be quickly integrated into a Works Instruction, with the data immediately being available to the Production Control Module. User definable it is easy to enter and control orders regardless of the number of components whether they are produced internally, outworked or supplied.
Nick Bourne went on to say "One of the key challenges for any printer today is to achieve profitability, which can only really come from finding higher added value, more profitable work, or from increasing efficiency. With margins being continually squeezed by cost increases and by buyers driving down prices, many printers no longer make a sufficiently viable return to invest for the future. The Imprint MIS will definitely allow businesses to generate higher added value and profit".
