Incorporating a full imposition system, eXpert estimating requires minimal knowledge and can take an outline specification working out the cheapest method of production and producing a quotation letter in seconds. Because it works from true imposition layouts, sheet sizes are calculated taking into account grips, trims, leaves, gutters, and binding methods. The system can handle multiple components and multiple quantities within one estimate making it ideal for direct mail. Multiple quantities also optimise the cheapest route by selecting the best printing process and finishing route for the job in question. The engine behind eXpert is Imprint's powerful General Estimating module and an estimator can switch between both to make modifications or changes.
