EEC Waste Directive
This specialist module is a piece of software plus a table-top weigh scale that allows packaging waste items to be accurately weighed and recorded for later use by a variety of databases.
It can be operated as a fully integrated part of the Imprint Management Information System or as a stand alone product with its own reporting system. Fully integrated it is particularly useful to larger turnover companies within the Carton and Packaging industries.
Stand Alone Functions
- Item is placed on the weigh scale and a job number or part number (from the Job Record Card program) is entered.
- If the weight of the item is already known from the Record Card it will be displayed and checked against the figures on the weigh scale.
- The correct or corrected weight of the item will then be posted back to the Job Record Card for future reference.
Fully Integrated Functions
- The weight from the weigh scale is integrated back to the Works Instruction; the Job Cost Sheet; the Finished Goods Stock Card and the Job Record Card.
- The Weight of the product is then designed, via Document Generator, into the standard formats to appear on such documents as Order Confirmations, Delivery Notes, and Invoices.
- Reports and presentations are produced through the Imprint Report and Document Generators.
- Information is held in the archives of Works Instructions; Costing; and Finished Goods Stock.
- Typical reports required will be: Weight of Goods in a specified period shown by Job; by Customer; by Product Type; etc.
- Counting: The weighing is extremely accurate and can be used for counting items, even in boxes, greatly simplifying despatch. Weight and count integrate directly to the Imprint Despatch Note and Labelling module.
